My first post in this new blog is dedicated to my three girls and a good friend Tan SK..my 'banker' as affectionately known to all who are close to me in office..
The name to this blog was brought up to her during one of our lunches..she was ever supportive and said was looking forward to me blogging in this new blog..haha...with motivation from pals like this and also I am in the midst of giving my hair a lift, I thot I have plenty of time....so to create a blog and start writing is the best option..the only stress right now is that my mobile's battery is running low..

ABC Soup..(20min)
Ingredients:
4 potatoes
2 large carrots
500g pork ribs
1 large yellow onion
3 large tomatoes
700ml water
Sour plum (optional)

Method:
1. Cut potatoes, carrots, tomatoes into chunks..Onions into quarters.
2. Blanch pork ribs and rinse off debris.
3.Put 700 ml water to boil in pressure cooker and throw in all ingredients..
4.Turn fire up and cook for 20 mins..
Check the doneness by the colour and taste of soup...

Steam chicken drumstick with woodear & mushroom.(15mins)
Ingredients:
3 de-boned drumstick
5 mushroom (soaked and cut into slices)
20g of woodear (refresh in warm water)
20g of golden needles/dried lily bud (refresh in warm water)
1 chinese sausage cut into thin slices ( use premium quality)
Bought mine from a sundry shop at Tiong Bahru market
1 pcs 2-inch ginger (sliced)
2 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1/2 tsp sugar
Pepper
5 mushroom (soaked and cut into slices)
20g of woodear (refresh in warm water)
20g of golden needles/dried lily bud (refresh in warm water)
1 chinese sausage cut into thin slices ( use premium quality)

3. Put in all the ingredients (mushroom, lily buds, sausages, ginger) give it good mix and put in cornstarch.
4. Steam for 15 mins in electric steamer or until done..

French beans and beancurd skin. (5 mins)
Ingredients:
200g french beans (sliced)
4 beancurd skin puff (bought from vegetarian stalls)
1 glove garlic - minced
1 tsp maggi sauce
Oil

1. Brown garlic in oil

3. Throw in french beans and fry.
