Easy Toufu Nuggets

Toufu has become one of my family's favourite lately. Whether it is just simply pan fried with a swish of black pepper & salt or deep fried and cooked with a meat sauce..or steam soft toufu with fish paste...it has never been easier.
Today, I am going to share my Boss, Susie's recipe. Simply..firm toufu, breadcrumbs, an egg, some seasoning..that's it.
Since I have bought 5 pieces of firm toufu from the market and yet to fry them, I thought this recipe would help to clear some space in my fridge
Ingredients:
5 pcs firm toufu (cut into 8 pcs) prefer thicker pcs as they wont break easily
1 egg (beaten)
1/4 tsp chicken powder or any seasoning of your choice
Dash of pepper
Breadcrumbs (2 bowls)
Oil for frying
Parsley & chilli flakes for
Method:
1. Cut toufu into desired thickness or like mine into 8 pcs
2. Beat eggs and add in seasoning
3. Dip each pcs of toufu with egg & coat evenly with breadcrumbs.
4.Pan fry till both sides are golden brown..
5. Serve on its own or with Thai chilli sauce..
Hope this recipe helps you just as much as it helps me when you have surplus toufu stored in your fridge..
Note:  At the end of the cooking process, if u still have quite a bit of egg snd breadcrumbs left..simply pan fry the breadcrumb omelett..it is so tasty..trust me (*excess egg because I used 2 thinking that I have not enough to dip 5 toufu)
Enjoy Folks...and Thank you Susie for sharing ..
