Sambal Telur @ Sambal Eggs
Eggs; a very easy-to-cook ingredient. No matter what method is used in the cooking, no matter how you like your egg done..it will always turn out good.
Sambal eggs which I am going to write about, are both easy and tasty.

INGREDIENTS:
9 eggs
1 big white onion (Slice onions thinly)
3 tbsp sambal
1 tbsp belachan chilli
1 tbsp tamarind juice/1 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp sugar
2-3 tbsp cooking oil
1 tbsp water

METHOD:
1. Boil the eggs, shell them and fry them in oil till golden brown.
2. Fry the onions till soft, add the sambal & belachan chilli and fry till fragrant.
3. Add water and lime juice and continue to fry till the sambal thickens, add in the sugar
4. Mix the eggs into the sambal and serve hot or cold with steam rice, mee siam or nasi lemak.
*this dish can be served cold without compromising the taste.
